Graham graduated from TCD with an honours law degree in 1983 and has over 35 years of investment market experience gained initially in London with Natwest and Nomura. After ten years he returned to Dublin and worked with the Investment Bank of Ireland for nine years as a Senior Portfolio Manager. He joined Friends First in 2000. In 2001 the Investment team was taken over by F&C Asset Management and he became a director in 2004. He was responsible for all aspects of Marketing and Client Services in F&C working closely with Institutional Investment funds, with particular reference to Pension Funds. He rejoined Friends First in September 2013 following the sale of F&C’s Irish Investment business back to Friends First. From March 2019, Graham started a new part-time role with Aviva-Friends First liaising with institutional fund managers and corporate clients. In April 2019 he started a new role with Clinch Wealth Management as an Investment Consultant focussing on investment research on all the major asset classes. He also became a member of the Clinch Wealth Management Investment Committee. He has particular expertise in working with corporate pension schemes helping them to restructure their investments to both meet the regulatory environment and achieve the best possible returns given their liability structures. He deals with the full range of corporate investments and has a particular interest in ethical investing.
Ronan is the Founder and Director of RSIC and has been providing expert investment consulting to a wide range of institutions and advisors since 2007. Clinch Wealth Management utilises the services of RSIC to develop our investment analysis and strategy as a member of our investment committee. Ronan was a Director at Bank of Ireland Asset Management for 18 years and subsequently developed the global business of a specialist currency manager. He is a former chairman of CFA Ireland, a former council member of the IAPF and was Ireland’s representative in Europe for the development of the Global Investment Performance Standards. He is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, The University of Hull, and is a QFA and FCCA.
Conor has a broad range of experience gained over 40 years, working with global organisations including Midland Bank, Diageo, Citibank, ABN AMRO and in the Irish market with Allied Irish Bank and Bank of Ireland. Conor has also worked in start-ups, with FinTech Company CR2 and in a joint venture with Deutsche Bank, Key Capital Private. Conor currently runs his own consulting firm Montpelier Capital. Conor qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1983 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland; he is a member of the Institute of Directors and acts as a Non-Executive Director for several entities regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.
Tom has been advising clients in Clinch since 1992. He succeeded his father, Andrew Clinch as Managing Director in 2004, who first established our reputation for integrity, expertise and service. Since 2004, Tom has built an exceptional team of experts, led the acquisition and consolidation of five other financial advisory firms and grown Clinch from €30M assets under management to over €400M. Tom is head of Technical Services providing insights on pensions, investments and inheritance planning products to the Clinch advisory team and our tax and legal partners. He is also head of Investment Strategy and together with his independent Clinch investment committee colleagues, he devises all the firm’s investment strategies. Tom is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, a QFA and a former head of Financial Services in Brokers Ireland. He has written and presented on financial matters to the Judicial Council, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the Institute of Chartered Accountants, financial industry conferences and business media. Tom is also a Director of Meav Productions which manages the creative and commercial activities of Grammy nominated singer Méav Ní Mhaolchatha, Tom and their family.
